Candidates announced

Candidates have now been announced for the election of the Student member of RCN Council, with a term of office from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2022. 

Voting opened on Monday 2 November and is taking place via postal ballot. Voting closes on Monday 30 November.

Watch the student member of Council virtual hustings

An online hustings event for the student member of RCN Council election took place on Monday 2 November at 7pm. You can watch a video of the hustings below. 

One of the candidates, Aiobhin McElroy, was unable to attend the hustings event due to a prior commitment. Aiobhin has provided written answers to all of the questions asked at the hustings which you can read here.
