The Florence Nightingale Foundation awards scholarships to nurses to travel to other countries, to observe trends and work in their own particular area of practice.
Our collection consists of the research reports written by these scholars.
They provide a unique collection of comparative studies of nursing in different countries around the world. There are also regional studies within the United Kingdom.
The reports reflect a wide range of nursing topics such as motor neurone disease, leprosy, infection control, safeguarding and mental health. A small number of the reports focus on nursing history.
