Do you need further help finding information or improving your literature searching skills?

All RCN Libraries offer members training sessions, and these can be tailored to meet your needs. RCN Northern Ireland, RCN ScotlandRCN Wales Libraries – contact your library to request a training session at a time that suits you.

 


RCN Library and Heritage Centre (London)

The RCN Library and Heritage Centre offers free training sessions for RCN members. Register online or contact us to book. Other times may be possible upon request and we also offer sessions for small groups.

What is a drop in training session?

A member of library staff is available to help RCN members with using library databases for literature searching. 


The number of participants at each session varies but is usually between two and four.

You can arrive at any point during the session without an appointment. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the end. If several members arrive at the same time you may be asked to wait, however everyone will receive help and training.

What is a one to one training session?

These sessions are suitable for RCN members seeking a one to one library database training session. They take place in a confidential safe space for learning.

Each session has one participant only, and is tailored to the needs of the participant.

These sessions are bookable online or by contacting the Library. You should arrive before the start time.
