RCN President election: new dates announced

The election to decide the next RCN President will open on 3 November and close on 5 December, with voting being conducted by postal ballot. 

There are four candidates in the running to be RCN President: 

• Professor Julie Green FRCN 
• Tristan Griffin 
• Sheila Sobrany  
• Maria Trewern

The President acts as an ambassador for the nursing profession and represents the RCN to its members, stakeholders and the public across the UK and internationally. They also serve as a full member of RCN Council. 

RCN members are invited to attend a virtual hustings on 3 November, from 7-8pm, to hear directly from candidates and ask them questions.
