Could we get a partnership forum for Norfolk STP

 Teresa Budrey 27 Feb 2018

Recently I met with Patricia Hewitt, independent chair of Norfolk and Waveney's STP, and other trade unions to discuss establishing a partnership forum for the STP.

Ms Hewitt agreed to discuss this further within the STP and meet with the trade unions again in March.

She updated the work of the five GP Federations across the STP and how they are looking to engage their community nurses in adult and mental health care.

They are looking to make the NHS across the STP an employer of choice by focusing on those from areas of disadvantaged education and social housing to showcase work opportunities and to have an STP recruitment initiative.

They are looking to have health coaches.

We will continue to monitor the progress of this STP and what it will mean for patients and staff in this area.
