Your AGM is also your opportunity to elect your branch committee members, including the branch Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. The strength of a trade union is in its numbers but each and every individual branch has an important part to play in making your union's voice heard. If you attend only one branch meeting a year, make it your AGM and help to set the agenda for you and your fellow local members for the year ahead.
