Three Liverpool region trusts are celebrating Nursing Support Workers Day with events this week.
This year, the theme for Nursing Support Workers’ Day will be the importance of equity, diversity and inclusion. We'll be shining a spotlight on the diversity of the nursing support workforce and the importance of inclusivity of nursing support workers within the nursing profession.
As Nursing Support Workers’ Day falls on a Saturday this year, activities will be spread over several days.
RCN Officers and Reps will be in attendance to mark this year's celebrations, which will be taking place on:
Thursday 21st November - Rowan View Hospital (Mersey Care) with Rep Oluwasegun Olasubomi
Friday 22nd November - Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Main Reception area, with RCN RO Wes Auden and Rep Pauline Harris, from 10.30am - 12.30pm
- The Walton Centre, Chavasse Ward, with RCN RO Wes Auden and Rep Patricia Kelly, from 1pm - 4pm
