Choose event information:
Hosted by our joint Greater Bristol and Bath branches' EDI Committee, in this webinar you will hear from staff psychologist Sabina Janally how to deal with trauma and successfully embrace opportunities.
The Greater Bristol and Bath branches have a joint Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee, that aims to champion equity, diversity and inclusivity by valuing each other, treating one another with respect, and making everyone feel that they belong. Our vision is to promote global inclusiveness for all members.
To that end, our EDI Committee is hosting this webinar, which we want to be an opportunity for our members to be inspired, and for us to acknowledge, celebrate and unite international colleagues from across the diverse range of employers within the two branch areas.
Our speaker, Sabinah Janally, is a staff psychologist at North Bristol NHS Trust. She will be discussing how to deal with traumas and showcasing the support available to allow members to successfully embrace opportunities.
We are keen to embrace the RCN's anti-racist agenda and lead the way in role modelling anti-racist behaviour.30 people, including up to 5 non-RCN members, are welcome to attend this event in person, with many more welcome to attend online.
This hybrid event will be dedicated to celebrating our colleagues from the global majority, or with global majority heritage.
Registration starts at 4.45pm for a 5pm start. We will provide tea/coffee and biscuits for those attending in person.
You're also equally welcome to join us online. Please indicate which you would like to do when you book your place.
