It's Disability Awareness Month in November. Save the date and block out 6.30-8.30pm in your calendars for this talk.
The subjects we are hoping to focus on are:
- What is a disability and how it is defined in Employment Law?
- Disability support available from the RCN - Holly Chadd, Disability Officer from the RCN, is joining us to talk about peer support and neurodiversity.
- Disability support available at UHBW, NBT, AWP and RUH trusts - reps from these trusts will briefly outline disability support in their workplaces.
- How learning disability nurses can support you to look after patients more safely and effectively (to be confirmed).
