We are delighted to announce details of the RCN Student Ambassador conference, which is taking place at RCN HQ, London on Tuesday 12 November 2024.
The conference is a fantastic opportunity to come together as Student Ambassadors and experience a programme that will inspire, inform and connect you in your role. It will be a conference to

- connect and communicate
- equip and inform
Learning Objectives:
All RCN Student Ambassadors are invited to apply for a place at the conference. If you did not receive the email invitation to apply please contact rcnevents@rcn.org.uk
RCN regions and countries are assigned conference places in proportion to their number of Student Ambassadors. They will be allocating places using agreed criteria and will maintain a waiting list in the event of oversubscription. Places are limited and must be applied for using an online application form which is now open.
Applications are open until Friday 13 September, places will be confirmed by regions and countries by 20 September.
Eligibility - this conference is open to RCN Student Ambassadors only.

20 Cavendish Square is located behind John Lewis, Oxford Street.
Visitor car parking
Q-Park Oxford Street is an underground car park situated underneath Cavendish Square. You can pre-book your parking by visiting the Q-Park website.
Tube
The nearest stations are Oxford Circus and Bond Street.
Bus
There are many buses routes that stop nearby, including the 10, 25, 55, 73, 98 and 390.
Air
London has five major airports: London City, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Luton and London Stansted.

London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports have dedicated express train services into central London.

London Heathrow and City airports are directly connected to the Tube network.

National Express, Easybus and Greenline coach transfers run 24 hours a day and start as low as £2 when booked in advance.

Registration
On arrival please make your way to the RCN registration desk which will be clearly signposted. You will be issued with conference materials, including a certificate of attendance and a name badge. Refreshments will be available through-out registration from 10am.
Travel and accommodation
Travel has been arranged for all Student Ambassadors who requested it and confirmations have been emailed separately.
Accommodation has been arranged for all Student Ambassadors who require it to be able to attend the conference. Confirmation of hotel arrangements will be emailed separately.

Exhibition
There will be an exhibition running alongside this event. Exhibitors have chosen to exhibit at this conference as they feel their products and/or services may be of interest to you. The exhibition also supports the conference, please take the time to visit each exhibition stand during the exhibition viewing times. A full list of exhibitors can be viewed on the event website.
Lunch
Lunch will be served at the time specified in the programme. If you have any specific dietary requirements please email RCNEvents@rcn.org.uk in advance so we can ensure your needs are catered for.

Applications are now closed.
The deadline to apply is Friday 13 September 2024 (midnight). Following this, Student Ambassadors will be notified within 1 week if a place at the conference has been approved. At that time there will be access to a travel request form to complete to confirm requirements.
All travel will be arranged centrally as part of the registration process. Following RCN policy guidelines, accommodation will be offered only to those who require it to be able to attend the conference.
