This morning seminar aims to highlight: what dementia is and isn't, presentation, the effects on a person affected by dementia, and a statistical overview

This seminar is aimed at Health Care Support Workers/ Health Care Assistants and Nursing Students working in any sector.

Topics include:

  • Different types/ causes of dementia
  • Prevalence/ Incidence
  • Clinical symptoms - some practice based issues
  • Person and relationship centred care

Course fees include tea/coffee and resources on the day
