Captured on Paper: Drawing with history

25 Oct 2018 13:45 - 21:00

20 Cavendish Square, Marylebone, London, W1G ORN

RCN Members: £10 £12

This year we are taking part in the Big Draw in partnership with Glenside Hospital Museum.
Join us, no matter what your artistic ability, for a drawing workshop inspired by the collections at Glenside. You will be guided through a 3 hour session, using pencil, pen and ink, looking at objects which tell a history of mental health. A drawing tutor will be there to guide the class through different techniques and styles.

We will also have a special display of illustrations by Denis Read, artist and patient at Glenside Hospital from the 1950s to the early 1960s.

Our event is friendly and informal, suitable for all levels whether you're a beginner or experienced drawer. Choose between an afternoon or evening session, and there will be refreshments at both.

Use the Book Now link above to find start times and more details.

For more information about the world's biggest drawing festival, check out the Big Draw website.
