The RCN is proud to bring together speakers from across the globe sharing, discussing and dissecting the global and national response to the defining world health crisis of the generation.

Bringing together high-profile speakers from across the world on 10 July 2021, 9am - 4pm BST.

This event is aimed at nurses and other health care professionals working in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic response.

The event aims to enable you to:

  • understand how critical care nurses in different countries around the world responded to COVID-19 pandemic
  • understand key challenges and discuss solutions
  • discuss the future direction of critical care nursing from clinical, education, research and leadership perspective.

The event will be hosted on the world leading all-in one virtual conference platform; Hopin, which enables a highly interactive and engaging experience for delegates.

The event is hosted on the world leading, all-in-one virtual conference platform Hopin, which provides a highly interactive and engaging participant experience.

Please note that this is a private event for registered delegates, who have a valid conference booking.

Access to the event

All booked participants will be emailed details on how to log in to Hopin, our virtual venue, in the two weeks prior to the conference.  

If you’re unable to locate your email, it may have landed in your Spam/Junk folder. If you still cannot find it, please check which email you signed up to the event with, as this is the email which the magic link will have been sent to.

Updating your profile

When you first access the Hopin platform you’ll be prompted to set up your profile. You can upload a photo, add your place of work, job title, social media contacts and a brief biography to help give you more presence at the event. Your profile helps you connect with others at the event and supports networking.

The guide will tell you:

  • which browser to use 
  • helpful information on device use and simple problem solving
  • how to navigate the Hopin platform
  • where recorded content will be available for registered delegates
  • where you can access a CPD certificate

After the event:

Don’t forget to take a few minutes to complete the evaluation at the end of the conference. All answers will be treated in the strictest confidence and will help us to shape future events, both online and face to face.

You can download your self-learning certificate from this web-page following the event. In order to validate the learning gained we recommend that a reflection is completed and submitted with the certificate as part of any review.

Bookings can also be made by post with a downloaded booking form with credit card details or payment/remittance advice posted to: Event registrations, PO Box 2329, Cardiff CF23 8YZ.

Payment by invoice is available on request. Please email a Purchase Order and booking form to Eventsreg@rcn.org.uk. PLEASE NOTE: A copy of the purchase order will be required. Purchase Order numbers alone will not be accepted and may delay your booking. Invoice requests will close 5 working days prior to the event. Please submit your purchase order requests to your organisation early to avoid booking delays.

All bookings will be confirmed in writing.

You will not be registered for this event unless payment accompanies your application. Places cannot be held provisionally.

The RCN reserves the right to refuse any booking at any time.
