A Practical Guide to the Objective Structured Clinical Examination

28 Sep 2022 16:00 - 18:00

Online Event

RCN members and non-members are invited to attend this online learning event focussing on the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) for international nurses, hosted by the RCN Eastern board.

The session will be a practical guide to what OSCE is about and coping strategies for those undergoing the process. Attendees will also find out about the networks that are available to support international colleagues.

Charlotte Collings, RCN Eastern Board Member and Steward, and Recruitment and Retention nurse at PAH, will lead the session. Charlotte is experienced in leading and delivering educational programmes for nurses requiring the NMC Test of Competence/OSCE and passionate about the experiences and pastoral care of international nurses. All international nurses and other RCN members and non-members are welcome to attend to find out more.

The session is organised and hosted by the RCN Eastern board but is open to members from across the UK. More than 450 members and non-members have already attended these sessions, so why not come along to find out more about this important subject? A certificate of attendance will be issued to all RCN members who join the meeting.

The meeting will be held online using Microsoft Teams. A link to join the meeting will be sent to you once you register your details to attend. When joining the meeting, please make sure you are clearly identified with your name on screen so we can admit you quickly to the event. If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know when booking your place.
