Choose event information:
All RCN North Lincolnshire members are invited to attend their Annual General Meeting, which is again being held virtually this year.
Come along and help make a difference by shaping local branch activities for the year ahead and electing your branch committee members. You can even stand for election yourself if you want to get more involved! The AGM is an opportunity for you to get involved in shaping the future of your branch, have your say on how it's run and learn more about the activities it undertakes.
If you're new to the RCN and this is your first AGM, please get involved - it's a great way to meet colleagues and other RCN members and influence the year ahead.
The AGM will again take place virtually this year as a Microsoft Teams meeting. To register your attendance, please book your place here. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email which includes the link to join the Microsoft Teams meeting on the day.
You will need to log-in to your RCN account before booking. If you don't have an RCN account, it's a really simple process to create one - just follow the steps provided.
You do not need to have the Microsoft Teams app to join the meeting, you can join using the web browser of any internet-enabled device.
Could you help lead the branch?
This year, the branch is going to need a new Executive Committee and we’re hoping to find members to take the branch forward.
Vacancies include the roles of chair, secretary and treasurer, along with two other branch officers, which could be an HCSW lead, comms lead, equalities lead - there's scope to shape those branch officer roles and make them your own.
If you're interested in getting more involved in the work of the branch, why not stand for one of the branch committee posts? Please read the RCN governance branch role descriptions for these roles to check your eligibility and capacity.
Being a branch committee member is a great personal and professional development opportunity. You can nominate yourself for a position on the committee for 2025 by completing the nomination form before the AGM.
