The RCN Neuroscience forum is hosting a cross-forum event with the RCN Critical Care and Public Health Forums to showcase the findings of the Meningitis Now report on follow-up and after care.

The topic of the webinar is RCN Forum engagement and follow up and aftercare – Lessons from the 'Meningitis Now' report.
This is a free webinar holding on Wednesday, 2 October 2024 between 12:30 and 14:00pm.
The webinar will be presented by:
Jonathan Beebee, RCN Professional lead for Learning Disabilities and Neuroscience nursing, Suman Shrestha MBE MSc BSc RN, RCN Professional lead for Critical Care nursing and Jessica Turner, RCN Professional Lead for public Health will be introducing the webinar and showcasing the work of the RCN professional forums.
Beverley Corbett, Director for Information and Support and Claire Donovan, Helpline and Information Nurse Manager from Meningitis Now will be presenting their report and how the learning from this can benefit all aspects of health and social care, not only the care of patients with Meningitis. The webinar will cover the following.
- Background on the 'Meningitis Now' report
- Patients’ perspectives
- Moving forward: Recommendations from 'Meningitis Now'
- Q&A Session.
