2018 marks the centenary of female suffrage in the UK, yet many of us are still asking why gender equality has taken so long?

Doors open 5pm, Talks start at 5.30

Join us for the annual RCN Fellows lecture to discuss the connection between women’s rights and health around the world. What has been achieved in the century since women gained the vote, and what still needs to be addressed?

Our speaker is Jude Kelly, Founder of Women of the World. We will be discussing the connection between women’s rights and health around the world and how the RCN can play a part in the Women of the World.

Women of the World was launched in 2010 by Jude Kelly to mark the centenary of International Women’s Day.  It is a global network of festivals which provide a platform for celebrates women and girls and looks at the obstacles that stop them from achieving their potential.
