RCN Northern Ireland three yearly Spirometry update for GP Practice Nurses
This webinar is exclusively for GP Practice Nurses working in Primary Care in Northern Ireland
Course Outline
This is one day facilitated interactive session suitable for all registered GP Practice Nurses who have completed their accredited spirometry course 3 years plus via any provider and have not completed their three yearly update.
The training will be delivered by experienced accredited spirometry trainers.
The day will cover:
- The care and maintenance of equipment
- Gaining good reproducible readings EVERY TIME- using the four-point rule:
- Update on Covid-19 regulations and spirometry restart in Primary Care
- How to achieve an accurate and reliable readings
- Looking beyond the FEV for additional clues
Please note students are encouraged to send through their own challenging reading and cases ahead of the training day to be critiqued and analysed on the day
