Join the RCN North West for an insightful and informative event exploring the causes, treatment and consequences of sepsis.

Not a day seems to go by without sepsis making the headlines, and this conference aims to bring together people affected by, and carrying out research into, the infection, its causes, treatments and its short and long-term impact. Speakers will include:

  • Sue Morrish - a mother’s personal experience describing her son’s exposure to sepsis, and his death
  • Dr John Caldwell - Integrated Urgent Care research and Quality Improvement
  • Dr Suzanne Fletcher - Sepsis Champion and Quality Improvement Lead
  • Dr Akshay Sule - Critical Care management of the patient with sepsis
  • Nurses Katie Jones and Nicky Orr - personal reflections of surviving sepsis and returning to work.
