Tackling topics and health challenges facing care leavers, this event provides a space to discuss ideas and network with like-minded colleagues.

If you’re a nurse working with looked after children (LAC) and/or care leavers, this event has been designed with you in mind by looked after children’s nurses working in partnership with the RCN.

Open to both members and non-members, the programme focusses on the latest news and updates from a national and regional perspective that impact on our ability as nurses to deliver effective health services to care leavers.

Karen Hughes, Chair of the RCN LAC Nurse Network, said: “We are really passionate about using this event as an opportunity to influence change and make sure we are really working to the best of our practice to advocate for change to the health provision for care leavers. I would encourage LAC nurses and Care Leavers' Nurses from all over the UK to attend with an opportunity to hear from a wide range of speakers, who will discuss emotive and challenging topics that affect Care Leavers.”

The day will be interactive with ample opportunities for discussion, questions and feedback.

Take advantage of early booking rates offering a 15% discount on the conference fee until 2 February 2020.

There is also a call for digital posters which closes on Friday 14th February 2020.
