The aim of this event is to highlight the progressive and collaborative nature of perioperative care practice. 

The aim of this event is to highlight the progressive and collaborative nature of perioperative care practice. In 2020, the international year of the nurse and midwife, we will be embodying education as the theme for the conference, we will highlight the existing challenges that the current workforce experiences and promote learning opportunities across the spectrum of perioperative care professionals. We will also explore advancements of education and showcase the achievements of our practices history and all the good things to come.

Conference topics include:
standardisation of post-registration perioperative care courses
the future and evolution of Operating Department Practice education
sustainability in nurse education
using narrative pedagogy with teaching in the operating theatre
role and training for assistant theatre practitioners.

Visitor car parking

Q-Park Oxford Street is an underground car park situated underneath Cavendish Square.  You can pre-book your parking by visiting the Q-Park website.

The nearest stations are Oxford Circus and Bond Street.

There are many buses routes that stop nearby, including the 10, 25, 55, 73, 98 and 390.

Air
