Much has been made by the Government and media about the way health care organisations address concerns raised by their staff.

In the 2013 NHS Staff Survey, only 72% of those that responded said they felt safe to speak up, while in many instances those that have spoken up have been subject to a detriment, making others even more reluctant to voice their concerns.

Pam Sandhu, from RCN Legal Services, will explore the legal requirements of the Duty of Candour for you and your organisation, looking at the relationship of this with the NMC Code and implications in practice.

You will need to book your place on this Local Learning Event. To reserve a place, please email westmidlands.region@rcn.org.uk or call 0121 450 4300.

Please specify that you wish to attend this event and quote your RCN membership number (if applicable) and your place of work when booking.

If you have any queries about this event, please call 0121 450 4300.
