Presented by Zoi Anastasa, Director of Operations at Vasculitis UK, this session will explore what vasculitis is, along with the signs, symptoms and treatment and what support is available for patients and their support circle.
What is vasculitis?
Vasculitis is a rare inflammatory disease which affects 2000 - 3000 new people each year in the UK. Vasculitis means inflammation of the blood vessels, and any vessels in any part of the body can be affected.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation, and the session will give you CPD hours and a certificate of attendance.
All RCN members including Nursing Support Workers, Health Care Assistants, Allied Professionals, Trainee Nursing Associates, Nursing Associates and students, as well as all membership groups, are welcome to attend.
