This session will provide a practical guide using models of care and film clips, giving attendees an introduction to the context, numbers and policy relevant to dementia. It will also incorporate the branch Annual General Meeting.
Presented by Sue Pinfold-Brown, Freelance Trainer and Consultant in Dementia Care, this workshop will include:
- types and symptoms of dementia
- the experience of dementia
- discussing person-hood, models of dementia care and tools to support practice
The session includes clips and activities to illustrate good practice.
You can book your place now on this Learning Event. The event is free for RCN members, while non-members will be charged £20 + VAT. This fee will be reimbursed if the attendee joins the RCN on the day.
