RCN Shropshire Local Learning Event: Nursing Associates - what's it all about?

Presented by Ruth Burey, RCN Professional Learning and Development Facilitator, this session will examine the role and responsibilities of the Nursing Associate. It will also incorporate the branch Annual General Meeting.
The workshop will include a focus on:
- the background and context for the nursing associate (NA) role, including some myth-busting
- the scope of the role, including accountability, delegation and team working
- the NMC Code and standards, plus Continuous Professional Development
- sharing local good practice in the support and development of NAs
You can book your place now on this Learning Event. The event is free for RCN members, while non-members will be charged £20 + VAT. This fee will be reimbursed if the attendee joins the RCN on the day.
If you can attend one branch meeting a year, then please make it the AGM. Come along and help make a difference, by shaping local branch activities for the year ahead and electing your branch committee members.
