Voting member applications open for Congress 2022

17 Nov 2021

The dates for Congress 2022, which this year will be held in Glasgow, have been confirmed as 5 - 9th June.

Applications for voting members and submissions for the Congress agenda are now open.

Because Congress 2021 did not go ahead as planned, voting entities (branches and forums) are asked to prioritise applications from members who were accepted for a voting place at last year's event. All members wishing to secure a place, regardless of acceptance previously, must submit an application form, as usual.

Congress 2021, which had been due to be held in the region in Liverpool last summer, largely took place online, with many sessions still available to watch here. This year, the hope is that the event will mostly be able to happen in person, with voting members attending wherever possible.

Congress 2022 will be presided over by BJ Waltho, Chair, and Michael Brown, Vice Chair, whose terms of office, along with those of the Agenda Committee, have been extended by RCN Council in view of the very exceptional circumstances which impacted on Congress in 2020 and 2021.

Further updates regarding Congress will be available throughout the coming months here.
