RCN London members recognised in New Year Honours

RCN London members have been recognised in the Queen’s New Year Honours 2015.

Matthew Hodson, who is a consultant nurse at the Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and also sits on the RCN London Board, received an MBE for services to Respiratory Care.

Professor Julienne Meyer, Professor of Nursing Care for Older People at City University London, received a CBE for services to Nursing and Older People. 

Professor Fiona Ross, Professor of Primary Care Nursing, Kingston University and St George's, and Director of Research, Leadership Foundation for Higher Education, received a CBE for services to Nursing.

Eileen Sills, Chief Nurse and Director of Patient Experience at Guy's and St Thomas's NHS Foundation Trust, was made a Dame for services to Nursing.

RCN Wales Director Tina Donnelly was also awarded a CBE for services to Nursing, the Armed Forces and Trade Unionism.
