RCN London members see books published

3 Nov 2016

RCN London's rich history of producing published authors continues with three of its members seeing their work published this year.

Dr. Elizabeth Anionwu, Claire Picton and Denise Chaffer have decades of experience across the health care sector, both as nurses and as educational leaders and now this year they have begun to see their latest work land on book shelves up and down the country.

Elizabeth’s book ‘Mixed Blessings from a Cambridge Union’ details her incredible life journey, from being born into a racially tense Britain in 1947 to overcoming challenges such as poverty and racism to find happiness and success in life and in health care.

Denise Chaffer’s ‘Effective Leadership – A Cure for the NHS?’ explores the importance of leadership at all levels of the health care service and addresses both the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ in the pursuit of excellence.

Claire Picton’s ‘Nursing: Your Registration: The Guide to Revalidation’ is a clear and easy to use self-development guide for nurses going through the revalidation process and contains a number of exercises that can be used as evidence.

Congratulations to all on the success of their work.
