RCN Northern Ireland engages with members over proposed pay deal

RCN accredited representatives, branch officials and staff are currently undertaking an extensive programme of engagement in HSC locations across Northern Ireland in order to explain to RCN members the implications of the imposed 2018-2019 pay award.

The programme of engagement activities also provides an opportunity to gather information from members on the personal impact of the imposed pay award and the widening pay inequality between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. Meanwhile, the RCN continues to prepare for a potential ballot of members working within the HSC on Agenda for Change contracts in relation to industrial action.

Information about the imposed 2018-2019 pay award, which the RCN did not support, is available in a new campaign leaflet.

Detailed information and commentary on the pay campaign is available via the RCN Northern Ireland web pages, on Facebook at RCNNorthernIreland and via Twitter at @RCN_NI.
