Student members: apply for a free visit to Congress 2018 in Belfast

17 Nov 2017

RCN East Midlands is inviting student members in the region to apply for a funded trip to the biggest event on the UK nursing calendar next year.

RCN Congress will take place at Belfast Waterfront in May when members from all over the UK will gather to debate key issues in nursing and health care and experience a wealth of learning events and opportunities and social activities.

Places at the event for up to nine student members from the East Midlands will be fully funded by the RCN in the region. The package includes a two-night stay in Belfast and return flights from East Midlands Airport to Belfast City Airport, departing on Sunday 13 May at 11.15am. The return flight is on Tuesday 15 May at 6.40pm.

The successful applicants will be chosen from all the student members who apply before the closing date of Tuesday 5 December 2017.

To apply

Please email david.kirwan@rcn.org.uk stating your name, membership number, university and a brief explanation (no more than 250 words) of how you believe attending RCN Congress will benefit you as a nursing student.

You will be notified if your application is successful and you should advise your university course tutor that you have been chosen to attend RCN Congress from 13-15 May 2018.
