Mayor of London thanks “invaluable” nursing staff

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has sent a thank you message to the city’s nurses at a reception to mark the Royal College of Nursing’s centenary year.

RCN London’s Centenary Celebration took place on Monday evening at City Hall, hosted by Jennette Arnold AM, with three hundred local members in attendance. 

The event was opened by Dr Onkar Sahota AM, who brought with him a message of thanks from the Mayor. 

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: “I would like to congratulate the Royal College of Nursing on a century of exceptional service and commitment. Their leadership has helped the nursing profession develop significantly over the years, and we at City Hall recognise the passion, dedication and commitment our nurses provide to the health system in London and beyond. Your work is invaluable and I wish you every success for the future.”‎
