Now all staff at the 185 Four Seasons Health Care sites who tested positive for COVID-19 will have their sick pay backdated to April 2020.

The RCN campaigned alongside other unions for full sick pay for at least 15,000 workers employed by Four Seasons Health Care (FSHC).

"This is a big win for the RCN,” said Clare Jacobs, RCN National Officer. ”There really is no excuse for employers not to pay their hardworking nursing and care staff full-pay for COVID-19 related absences.”

Four Seasons Heath Care is also in discussions with unions over the use of the Government’s Adult Social Care Infection Control Fund

The RCN has been calling on all health and care employers to pay their staff full pay for any COVID-19 related absences.
