Published: 18/11/2013
Publication code: 003264
ISBN: 9781908782946
Updated competence framework developed to enhance the clinical care that children and young people with an endocrine disorder receive. The framework focuses on knowledge, skills and interventions that are heightened or specific to nurses working in paediatric endocrine nursing. It identifies the competencies, learning outcomes and the indicative content necessary for education and training programmes to meet the needs of children and young people, and should be used to develop new programmes and review and revise existing ones.
