Ensuring that all of those caring for children and young people are able to meet their needs is essential. The GP, general practice nurse, and registered nurses in first contact services, ie, walk-in centres/out-of-hours provision may be the first point of contact for families around health care issues. This toolkit will support nurses working outside of hospital settings in providing care to children and young people.
