Beyond the Bursary: Workforce Supply

The current workforce shortage is the result of successive governments’ underinvestment in workforce supply. To get more people into the nursing degree and successfully graduating in England, the Government must provide appropriate support both on entering and throughout the degree. This report details our modelling, undertaken by London Economics, which demonstrates the level of funding required to increase the number of applicants to the nursing degree.
