Key information for exhibitors
Thank you for supporting this year’s RCN Congress & Exhibition: The largest annual nursing
exhibition in the UK.
RCN Congress is a unique event for everyone in the nursing community!
We’re very excited to be bringing RCN Congress back to Liverpool and inviting you to join us.
Delegates engage in key debates around nursing practice, public health, employment issues, and health reforms which help shape the RCN agenda. Issues debated at Congress frequently make the headlines – it’s a unique opportunity for the world to hear the voice of nursing and for delegates to engage, communicate and network with a multitude of organisations.
We hope you have a very successful exhibition. Should you need any further information that is not covered below, please contact the RCN Corporate Relations Team on 020 7647 3959 or CongressExhibition@rcn.org.uk.

Shell scheme is the name given to pre-erected rows of stands (which include carpet, a light and electrical socket); where you simply turn up and dress the stand. Stands at RCN Congress are all shell scheme as standard.
All shell scheme packages include:

- an electrical package (500-watt socket and two 100-watt spot lights)*
- a fifty-word company entry on the RCN Congress website
- your company name and stand number listed in the RCN Congress guide
- tea and coffee for stand personnel
The shell scheme is 2.5m in height and each panel is just under 1m. You may attach items to the shell scheme via temporary fixings such as Blu-Tack and Sellotape.
Please be aware that the shell scheme is supplied with no furniture. You are free to provide any furniture you require, alternatively you can order furniture from our supplier: Dzine Furniture

Stand break-down is from 16.30 on Wednesday 14 May
Please note that stands may not be removed from the exhibition until the official break-down time and all delegates have left the exhibition hall.
Please also note that for exhibitors in the lower hall it will not be possible to use trolleys to remove items until after the event is closed. Items may be removed by hand before this. We ask that all items are removed from the hall by 8pm. If your materials are being collected by courier we ask that these are collected before the end of the RCN's tenancy on Thursday 15 May.
This strictly contravenes RCN health & safety regulations and is discourteous to other exhibitors who wish to exhibit until the end of the last viewing time.
Exhibitors will be able to access their stands from 7:30am each morning ahead of the exhibition opening at 8:30am (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) for re-dressing and re-stocking, however for health and safety reasons no major construction will be permitted on exhibition open days and no boxes or deliveries can be brought in or out of the exhibition areas whilst the exhibition is open to the public.
