Showcasing excellence, sharing success – a discussion with RCN Nurse of the Year winners from across the UK

Join the inspirational Nurse of the Year (NOTY) winners across the UK as they share an insight into the passion, dedication and innovation that led them to be named an RCN Nurse of the Year. In this event our 3 winners, Gary Rutherford, mental health nurse and founder of Addiction Recovery Coaching (ARC) Fitness from Northern Ireland, Amy Noble, Clinical Nurse Manager, NHS Highland from Scotland and Tara Rees, Lead Hepatology Clinical Nurse Specialist, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board from Wales and RCN Nurse of the Year, Julie Roye, Head of Nursing for Primary Care, East London NHS Foundation Trust, will discuss their varied clinical roles and their shared focus on patient-centred care and clinical leadership. 

This interactive session will provide an opportunity to hear about the service developments the Nurse of the Year winners have delivered and to ask questions about their work, career and the opportunities being an RCN Nurse of the Year Awards provides.

The event is relevant to health care support workers/nursing support workers, students and nurse members at all grades. It will be of particular interest to those who want to learn more about clinical leadership, implementing innovation and sharing best practice.
