The East Midlands has a network of seven RCN branches serving members in their local area. Each branch has an executive committee, including a chair and secretary, who are elected annually to lead and administer the work of the branch for the benefit of members.
In common with other regions, the East Midlands has an elected representative on RCN Council, the College's governing body. The Council is responsible for the overall governance of the RCN. The East Midlands seat on the Council is currently vacant.
The East Midlands Regional Board advises and supports the Regional Director in setting and delivering the RCN's priorities in the region. The Board meets three times a year and its members are elected by the regional membership.
