From the eighteenth century the medical role of nurses in the navy, especially the monitoring of patients for changes in symptoms, increased as medical practitioners left the bedsides of the sick.
This event will focus on the health and safety of our young girls and women across Wiltshire and will include talks on sexual exploitation, prostitution, drug trafficking, domestic violence, safeguarding. The event will be open to all and will be especially relevant to nursing staff working in emergency care, urgent care, walk-in centres, general practice, sexual health and students. A light buffet lunch will be provided.
