RCN South West Region

The Wiltshire branch represents more than 4,000 members across the county.  We are here to support, represent and facilitate learning and networking for nursing staff. All RCN members working in Wiltshire are invited to attend our meetings, as well as nurses and health care assistants interested in joining the RCN on the day.

If you’d like to find out what the Wiltshire branch does and how to get involved, we’re keen to meet you. We discuss local issues and you can also network with other health care professionals from across Wiltshire.

Meetings mainly take place at Gifford's Surgery, Spa Road, Melksham, Wiltshire, SN12 7EA (unless otherwise stated).

We will have a presence at Swindon and Wiltshire Pride on 20 August so if you would like to help out or come along please email

There are two learning events in Wiltshire happening soon:

One on the evening of 19 July which will be on the duty of candour, female genital mutilation and sexual exploitation.

The second is on 10 September and is a centenary event 'Celebrating nursing and care' with sessions on revalidation and dementia.
