You can also nominate someone not in RCN membership for an Honorary Fellowship if they have made a significant impact on nursing through work in their field.
Nominating someone for the RCN Awards 2027 is simple. You can find all the information you need here. RCN Awards are open for nominations across our membership – in whatever member category or nursing role – so please do make your nomination before they close at 4.30pm on 12 November 2026.
Carmel O’Boyle, Chair of RCN Council, said: “Our awards recognise members whose dedication, leadership and impact deserve to be celebrated, wherever they are in their nursing career.
“Remember: the most deserving nominees aren’t always the most visible. I strongly encourage everyone to take a moment to think of those colleagues who inspire them through their involvement in our College and then submit a nomination.
“Recognition matters. Let’s highlight exceptional nursing colleagues.”
The RCN Awards ceremony will take place on 22 April 2027 at RCN UK headquarters in London.
