RCN Northern Ireland Nurse of the Year Awards 2026
The RCN Northern Ireland Nurse of the Year Awards were established in 1997. The awards will take place on 4 June 2026 at the Culloden Hotel, Holywood.
Over the past 30 years, these awards have recognised innovation and excellence in nursing practice and outstanding contributions to patient care. They are open to registered nurses, midwives, health visitors, health care support workers and nursing students.

The closing date for all awards have now passed. The Public Health Award is now open and will close on 27 March 2026.

Public Health Award
The Public Health Award is open to all registered nurses, midwives and nursing assistants/ health care assistants working in all health care sectors in Northern Ireland.
- If you are successful at shortlisting stage, the judging will take place on 20 April 2026.
