Moray nurse celebrated for revolutionising dementia care in care homes
NHS Grampian’s Specialist Nurse in Dementia for Care Homes, Kenny Davidson, was announced as the winner of the Mental Health Nursing Award at the grand RCN Scotland Nurse of the Year Awards ceremony tonight (12 June 2025).

Mountain rescue nurse is the people’s winner at national nursing awards
Rhona Morrison, an NHS Borders nurse who volunteers with the Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team, received Scotland’s People's Choice Award at the grand RCN Scotland Nurse of the Year Awards ceremony tonight (12 June 2025).
