Walking back from placement I bumped into another student who said – “So you can hardly stand up and don’t know where you are you must be a first year, Go home eat something get some sleep and read the student nurses hand book by Bethann Siviter. It will be OK.” This was one of the most useful bits of advice I got as a student.
