Reason you chose this book

Inspired by Dan Butcher, Lecturer at Oxford Brooke's University, Swindon Campus after a palliative care lecture I read this book in an evening. A step into the life and emotions if a woman living with terminal cancer. Beautiful heart wrenching and thought provoking book. A real reminder that our patients are people and the health care we provide is to be personal and individualised. The lecturer's passion for his specialist subject really was an inspiration. 14 years on I still feel the passion and compassion.

Review

This book took me on a roller coaster of emotion. In one evening I laughed, cried, held my heart and even prayed. A raw and very beautiful compilation of real time thoughts, experiences and emails from a woman living and dying with terminal cancer. A quick read. Very powerful.
