#RCN100 Celebrating 100 years of the Royal College of Nursing

Bed Number 10

Margretta M. Styles

Anne-Marie Paulin, Health Visitor and Children's Nurse, Southampton

I read this book when I was training to be a nurse. It really opened my eyes to the patient experience and about truly caring and taking the time with patients. It shows how the small things can make a difference and about being "truly present" when you are caring for patients. It shows just what makes a nurse for those who are in our hands.
