#RCN100 Celebrating 100 years of the Royal College of Nursing
Nursing through time resource

Nursing through time

Resource coming soon

The Royal College of Nursing is celebrating its centenary year in 2016. The centenary is a time to reflect on the achievements by nursing staff and the development of nursing as a profession.

To celebrate our centenary, we will be launching Nursing through time, a new, free resource for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils. Using RCN archive imagery, the resource charts the development of modern nursing from the 19th century. It also includes a special focus on the founders of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole. Thanks to the RCN Foundation for their support for this resource.
