Case or memories

Case of memories

Have you heard about the ‘Case of Memories’ resource which is available to borrow from RCN Scotland Library?

Our Case of Memories is a reminiscence 1950s District Nursing bag to help those living with dementia revisit and recall their past.

Funded by the RCN Foundation, it includes replicas of nursing items used during this period such as thermometers, nurses’ scissors, bandages, ear syringes, and enamel bowls. A document to accompany the case outlines the items so that those presenting them can describe what they are and prompt memories.

If you would like to find out more and organise a booking, please get in touch with us at scotland.libary@rcn.org.uk or on 0131 662 6163.
