Major review of the library’s lending collection
This summer we've reviewed our lending collection. We've assessed thousands of books to make sure the collection holds only the most up to date content on nursing.

This summer, we reviewed over 7,000 books across our shelves: a full refresh of the entire lending collection. While we usually focus on specific sections each year, this time we reviewed everything to make sure every area includes key texts and the latest content, whether you're exploring nursing specialisms, management techniques, or research strategies.
We’ve kept all UK nursing books, which will now become part of our Historic Collection. Keeping these books will make sure we continue to be the UK’s largest nursing-specific library.
Next up: we’re working on making it easier to find and access books, and we’ll be updating our classification system to help you discover what you need faster.
