Frequently asked questions
Erskine pay offer member consultation
The Erskine pay offer takes account of certain factors such as the requirements to meet the Real Living wage and the need to maintain appropriate differentials within the pay scales. This means that for some pay bands the exact percentage increase is slightly different. You can see how this affects you in the tables contained in the full offer from Erskine.
If the majority of RCN members reject the offer, RCN Scotland will inform Erskine of the outcome and your elected members on RCN Scotland Board, RCN Trade Union Committee and RCN Council will consider the next steps. If rejected there is no guarantee that the current offer will be available in the future.
If no improved offer is received from Erskine all options would be considered including asking members to vote on and participate in industrial action.
